Yeah, its always struck me as funny how a lot of the cars that are the
most fun to drive hard (Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Viper, etc.) are
outcasts in the "Sports Car" Club of America Solo2 program.
Some may argue that cost justifies that... but it doesn't. The 9 Stock
classes require you to buy brand new cars on a fairly regular basis. And
we all know, the majority of the depreciation happens then. A lot of those
expensive marque cars are pretty cheap *used*, sometimes even holding value.
Hmmm... maybe that's it, the Big Three really like the current classing!
Luckily we do have our actively-autocrossing marque clubs. (Orrr, maybe
that's *why* we have our actively autocrossing marque clubs. So, maybe
I like the classing, too! ;^)
