while we can argue about the weather in Kansas in October and get mixed
results there is another subject i would like to point out... even in
September there is likely to be snow in the Rockies take for example
this year 1 week after returning home from nationals I 80 through Wyoming
was closed due to snow.  Moving Nationals to October would make most of
the left coast think twice about the trip...
