Well, Roger, because the SEDIV series has had a horrible string of bad
luck this year with 3 of 5 scheduled events getting cancelled. Also,
Florida IS in SEDIV and should support SEDIV's premier events by not
scheduling on top of them. I can understand scheduling a local event on
top of a SEDIV but NOT a state championship. Incidentally, there are a
lot of Floridians within 300 miles of us!
However, I understand that the Florida State Championship isn't being
hosted by a SCCA club (even though they have hosted a SCCA Pro Solo2 just
last year) AND that these dates had been set aside a long time ago and
was not a new date just released.
I also know that scheduling can be a royal pain.

Subject: Why?
None of MY business, but this is beyond incredible. Hialeah to
Atlanta is 12 hours - 667 miles. This is like complaining about
an event in Toledo, OH. . . . . . but that is closer to Atlanta, Ben:
658 miles - 11.75 hours.
How many entries will they 'steal' from the Atlanta event????
Astounded,
Roger 2
