- I can handle the occasional on-topic "commercial" post
- I find Jean's tendancy to _immediately_ (like within 30 seconds) respond

- I've learned to deal with Linhoff's "I use the full text of War and
Peace, (with annotations and glossary). as a .sig" signatures.
- I've even developed a mental Kill File that does a pretty good job of
filtering out the *incessent* stream of Paul Fosterisms
But every time someone quotes the FREAKING FULL TEXT OF A MESSAGE AT THE
BOTTOM OF A TWO LINE POST, I wanna jump in with both feet and start
a-swingin' a 10kg LART.
PLEASE, *PLEASE*, those of you who have not been around the 'net long
enough to know that There Is No Cabal, the proper way to reply to a message
is to trim down the quoted text to the absolute bare minimum required, like
so:

YES, this requires a little more effort on your part. YES, you will have to
master the elusive and highly technical art-jitsu of the "delete" key (or,
if you are a little-endian, the "backspace" key) YES, this will require you
to, on average, spend an additional 10 SECONDS preparing your post before
sending it off for all of us to read. But the resultant savings in
bandwidth, legibility (especially for Digest readers) and reduction in my
blood pressure will do wonders for your Karma.
