The Car Craft guys ran Time Onlys at Hollywood Park (Los Angeles) back in
May.

They made 10 runs. It was interesting! The finish that month was insanely
tight. Not easy for the big cars to get through, much less 502ci Big Block
Chevelle set up for the Strip! It would have been more fun to see them
take on the Norton AFB course we ran in June. Even my stock Dakota was
relatively quick on that course.

The Chevelle's best run was an 87.68
For comparison-
HS winner was 90.85
GS winner was 84.28
FS winner was 77.57
SS winner was 72.60

Our lowly and underrated truck class had three guys running in the 70's.
Scary...

| What?!? Car Craft? That's a drag racin' magazine for them boys still
stuck
| in the 60s and 70s. Well, their machinery may be, but in this month's
| issue, they went AXing! With a 502ci big-block Chebby Chevelle. With
90-10
| drag shocks no less! No clue what class they were put into, the article
| didn't say, but I'd assume it wasn't stock.... ;-) All they wanted to
do
| was beat them 'import boys'. Well, at least we're getting more exposure!
