The good news is that I have five rolls of Around the World in 80 Days Rally
in Duluth and north-shore scenery pictures on Ememories.com. They will soon
be available for all of you to view.
The bad news is that I lost a roll. Not sure yet whether camera malfunction
or operator malfunction. The stuff that got lost was some Europa
headlight-cover shots and some north-shore stuff including the 500mm shots
of Split Rock Light House, the nighttime harbor shots, the lighted Aerial
bridge. ARRRGHHHHH!
I sent in the six rolls in at the same time, in two envelopes. The first
one was up shortly after I sent them in. Two of the rolls from my new SLR
were there. The third one came up unexposed. I didn't know which one it
was.
Meanwhile, the other three rolls stubbornly refused to show up. In fact,
they made the scene today. A quick headcount of pictures showed that they
were one of the rolls from my new SLR and two rolls from my wife's cheap
viewfinder camera. This meant that the shots from my old Pentax SLR were
the toasted ones.
I'll post the URL in a day or two. If you like non-museum old cars, you
won't be disappointed.
