I tried that setup last season on last years Hoosiers and found I had to run
48psi in the front. IMHO, the Type R needs a wider tire than a 205 in front. I
compared the Hoosier with the G-Force and was always about 0.5 seconds faster
on the BFG. Hoosier Tom did not recommend running the 225 on the stock 6" so I
never tried it but others have on other cars. I felt the tire had plenty of
grip but I had a hell of a time with transitions due to the slow reaction of
the tire and the relatively slow steering of the ITR. Good luck.
