At Nationals or other events where protesters get persnickety about the
rules, they need only show that a modification is illegal, not that it
matters. My Lotus is full of ASP illegalities that don't really matter (my
stock knob on top of a totally-revamped shifter is not one of them, though).
I may go back to being slow in AP instead of slow in ASP for that reason.

They are different if your owner's manual tells you that the sunroof is
removable and your owner's manual does not tell you that the sun visors are
removable.
