Agreed,
I beleive the purpose of the research is not designed for "STS" exactly, but
for The guys at hoosier to offer their customers a awesome street tire, which
their current line up does not provide.. they have a few Z rated tires but
with a 300 treadwear rating they are hardly a match for the current imports
from europe and japan, and even BFG's G-force line up..
but if you think about it putting some tread on a R3SO3 carcass should not be
that hard, heck I can do it at the local "bangdag"?? equipped shop, that equip.
can retread whatever carcass you suppply them with..
I think the fact it will work well for sts is just a bonus :-)
Jeff
PS. I got all this info when I inquired about getting hoosier contengency for
STS if I ran the Kelly Springfield built H-tires, I got a puzzled answer.. and
basically I was told No, but if a driver was to win on hoosier street tires
(not very likley) in sts and submitted his contengency claim form, I doubt they
would reject it..
