It is not the size of the class, but the quality of competition! Any time
there are two players, there is a competition. Competition promotes
improvement and sportsmanship. While one car in class is an easy win, you
can still be honored by the trophy - check out how you did in PAX. (Yes I
know it is not perfect, but fighting over class size is?)
If you have 45 cars in the class, and the top 2 are 5 seconds ahead of the
rest, how much different is that from having only 2 cars?
You want big classes - PAX everybody! Or PAX catagories (Stock, SP, P and M
seperately). Give the Ladies an additional 0.97 or something and roll them
in too. Boy wouldn't those victories make you feel good!
Let's stop wasting our energy on this arguement, and let's all go look for
some new sites to hold events on. Finding a new site is a victory for
everyone.
