I grew up watching Nascar from the infamous Daytona 500 in 1967(?) till last
season. unfortunately Winston cup in my eyes while enjoying immense
popularity has become too commercial and homongized from a TV standpoint.
Only way I listen to Nascar now is on MRN radio while cutting the
grass,Problem with that is last time I mowed the grass(Talledega) I got the
tractor up into the marbles and hit the stone wall in front of the house.
after a 3 lap caution and a scolding from my wife, I was able to resume
mowing but the tractor developed a Push and I had to back off..My neighbor
finished his lawn 2 laps ahead of me.
Good thing autocross isn't on the radio I can see me now pretending my
wife's flowers are cones, and the apple orchard a slalom.
