The trouble with email is that you're sitting in your office or cube totally
isolated from the rest of the world. We say things in email that we'd NEVER
say to someone's face.
Just think of it as a conversation that would happen in the grid of an
autocross. If you don't like it, instead of walking away, press DELETE. I
do. Works like a charm.
The other thing I'd like to say is that while the death of Greg Moore and
the Egyptair flight are all terrible, terrible tragedies, there are people
you KNOW going through their own life's struggles. These email arguments to
me only prove how separated we are from the people who surround us. Look at
us trying to make peace on team.net a priority. It's just not natural, I
tell you! You shouldn't read some electronic messages, and then be cranky
the whole rest of the afternoon. The people immediately around you are MUCH
MORE IMPORTANT!
