The way that Tire Rack ships these combos (and even John @ CCW) is to take
two pieces of cardboard per wheel/tire, and tape them to the face and back
of the wheel, using strapping tape, all around the tire. This way, it
covers the wheel so it doesn't get scratched during shipping.
Tire Rack doe sit with nice round pieces of cardboard, cut about 2-3"
larger in diameter larger than the wheel itself. I'm lazy, so I just cut
'em square about the same size, and fold the edges as I tape 'em.
Do them up individually this way, so you'll need eight pieces of cardboard
to do it. I've found that two 17" or 19" computer monitor boxes are great
donor boxes for the cardboard pieces.
