Good luck finding a worth while performance brake pad that does not
produce dust. The amount of dust depends on how much you drive and
the amount of braking you do.
I personally like Carbotech pads but I know others people prefer other
brands. I have tried Cool Carbon and Hawk pads. I am satisfied Carbotech
customer. I know Carbotech recently came out with a street performance
pad, "Panther". It maybe what you are looking for. They also sell Hawk
pads. I prefer to use the Carbotech Kelated Metallic pads. A little dusting
and noise but very rotor friendly and stops very well.
Call Carbotech or visit their web site.

Subject: Brake Recommendations for '93 Integra
After an active, and somewhat satisfying year of autocrossing, I'm now facing
the reality that it's time to put some new brakes on the car, a 93 Acura
Integra GS with ABS brakes.
I've been running with stock brake pads, and I'm wanting to get into something
a bit more "performance" oriented. I've heard that Performance Friction has
some good carbon-metallic pads, but after inquiring at my local AutoZone, they
informed me that those particular pads didn't exist for my year and model.
So, now I'm looking for alternatives (or the reality of what pads WOULD work on
my Integra..given that Honda Civics and Integras share just about everything).
Could anyone give me some recommendations on their experience with various
pads?
I'm looking for something with better performance than the stock pads, but not
any that create so much brake dust that I have to clean the car every week to
prevent buildup.
Any/all suggestions very welcome!
