I'm getting more serious about my autocrossing (boy, this is going to be an
expensive hobby!) and am looking into up-grading the suspension.
I have a '99 Miata (10th anniversary edition) and already have BrainStorm
Products front & rear sways and Eibach Pro Kit springs. I'm running 13" C-8
Panasports w/ Hoosier 225/45/13 radials. 'Thou I'm not trailering, I want
to err on the side of high performance and don't mind a harsh ride for daily
driving.
I want to replace the stock Bilsteins and the Eibachs I put on and go w/
fully adjustable shocks and ride heights (coil-overs).
Anyone have info. on:
1) Coil-over kits? I've just talked w/ the people @ Ground Control and it
sounds like that may be the way to go ($399.00 for all four wheels incl.
Eibachs set to my preferance of stiffness).
2) A source for cheap GAB shocks? I'm looking to go the "Super Stroke"
route (as per some comments from Guy Ankeny - certainly a good enough
source!). Ground Control quoted $177.00/ea. I know the KYB AGX's are
cheaper than GABs, but it seems the Super Strokes will be better for my
application.

P.S. Took the CSCC autox school last weekend at Hollywood Park in Los
Angeles (Inglewood). Wow! The best $75.00 I've spent in years! What a
great event. Wonderful instructors (a special thanks to my instructor,
David Palmquist!!! And to Renee Angel for getting me in!!!) and courses -
it has noticably improved my street driving (Mulholland Highway on Monday!)
and if my acting career allows, I can't wait to go to my next event soon.
