I am trying to gather some information about swaybars in stock
class, sort of an unofficial pole. If anyone is interested in participating
please email me directly.
What I am trying to find out is:
1. How many of you in stock have changed your front bar, did you go softer
or harder?
2. Do you think that it made a big difference, and would switching back to
stock hurt your performance dramatically?
3. If you have not changed your bar, do you think a front or rear swaybar
change would increase your performance?
4. Do you think that a rule change such as "front or rear bar may be
changed, but not both" or "no swaybar may be changed", would cause current
cars to be uncompetitive? Or would it slow some of the faster cars down and
make for closer competition?
5. What kind of car do you run, in what class?
6. What is the average price you have paid for a swaybar?
I am trying to gather information based off of other cars and
classes, as my experience is limited to a CS\BS Miata, GS MX6 and a SS
Corvette. So if anyone in other cars or classes has some data I would
appreciate it. I am not try to get another debate going, so if you do want
to contribute send them to me directly.
