        Katie really does put this in the proper perspective. Although I'd
argue that four or five years does not necessarily make a stock class
car uncompetitive. But it does tend to limit its chances of championship
aims. Newer cars are ALWAYS going to make the car that once seemed like
the "car to have", now seem like an "also ran". Yeah, the hot RX-7's are
getting up to 6 years old, and C-Stock is dominated by 8, now 9 year old
cars. But for the most part, new replaces old. Live with it! Somebody
will always build a better mousetrap. 

        That's why I like SP and Prepared, you can build your own darn 
mousetrap!

I forget who it was that said it, but: "Enjoy what you drive, and drive
it well".
