Is now a good time to tell everyone that I have a
deposit at the local dealership and first right of
refusal on the first Phoenix Yellow year 2000 Integra
Type R, expected to arrive in October? Yup, that's
right, they decided to bring them over! Dealerships
have already placed their orders!
here's a post from the Type R list...
(obviously they're a bit off on the numbers of
1997-1998 cars sold, but you get the drift)

Meanwhile, the Integra TYPE-R returns to the North
American lineup to help drive that point home. It is
a true halo car, racking up just a few hundred in
sales here during 1997 and 1998. Acura expects to
sell about 1000 in 2000, none of them white and none
without air conditioning. The new colors are black
and "bright Phoenix yellow." The car will return with
the 195hp 1.8L VTEC four, carbon fiber dash accents
and titanium shift knob, all for $23,500."
