See, when you sit in front of a computer all day, every now and then you get
an itchin' to see what's out on the Internet. As you might guess, right now
I'm on this quest to find fierce women in racing, and whoa, I found this
Living Legends of Auto Racing web site. I think it's all about NASCAR. They
have a section devoted to women, listing a whole two. One of them is Linda
Petty, wife of Richard. She'll be inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame
this year..
The other one is Louise Smith, another inductee. This one's a really good
story.

By the way, but were not race car drivers back in the forties completely
