I've read that your not supposed to store your race tires in the heat or > next to an electric motor (that makes no sense to me). The ozone generated by "non poluting" electric motors attacks the rubber in the tire creating small cracks. Same effect as leaving a tire out in the sun for extended period of time (years). Best storage without demounting them would be to lay them on their side in a cool dark place.. Just make sure they don't come into contact with any petroleum products. Tom |
