I am using some hand me downs (from Nancy Naughton/Maloney's Audi) that are
~ 4 years old. Jeff Reitmeir and her used them in a Divisional and several
other events. They then sat for 2 years b4 I "found" them in a corner.
Mounted them (inside out, there was some scalloping) on the 240 rims and
they still work great (after 1 year). Just Sat I drove them down the street
on the way to an event a marveled that all the stones in the street were
bouncing off the inner fender wells after the tires had picked them up. I
had been 4 months since they were used b4 that too.
I am *impressed* with them (205-55-16, Proxes RA1)
Go for it. I don't see any reason why they won't work as well, and maybe
last even longer than the other tires.
Of course, YMMV.
