I think Kumhos are much better than regular street tires at the
dragstrip.
Especially if the track has put some VHT down. Then with my 265s
I can do 2500-3000 RPM clutch drops no problem,whereas no street tire
would grip doing that.
plus, 60 ft times are a good .1 to .15 better with the kumhos (at least
on my
98 Camaro Z28).
If you just put the kumhos on the back, leave street tires on the front,
the rolling resistance isnt bad (especially compared to a Drag radial).
