Red River Region, SCCA, is proud to present TLAC-2 on Sunday, May
23rd, at beautiful Red River Raceway. For those who don't know, TLAC
is an acronym for Trans-Louisiana Autocross Challenge. Ours is the
second of four such events planned for this year. Red River Raceway
is the new IHRA-sanctioned dragstrip 20 miles north of Shreveport on
US Highway 71. It hosted the IHRA World Finals last October and saw
several new world records set during that week. It's got 12 acres of
paved (rolled asphalt) paddock area and it's a terrific autocross
site.

Also note: This coming Monday is the cutoff date for the hotel.
After that, they will release the rooms we've got blocked to the
general public. You can still get a room after that date for the same
rate IF any are still available. But bear in mind, this is the
third-largest gambling market in the United States and rooms,
sometimes, go quickly on the weekends.
Hey, while you're at it, why not plan on coming in Friday night or
Saturday morning?!? That way you'll have some time to drop a few
bucks at one of our local riverboat casinos, visit the ArkLaTex
Antique and Classic Vehicle Museum or the 8th Air Force Museum, check
out the American Rose Center or the Norton Art Gallery, or take in any
of the other attractions that make the Shreveport/Bossier City area
such a great place to live/work/play.
