I just saw a show about funny car bodies and how they are made. The average
paint scheme on those bodies weighs in around 85 lbs. By going with white
gel coat and minimal color paint, they reduced the weight to 45 lbs. Just an
FYI incase anyone wants to run a naked car. Notice I said a naked car, not
naked in your car.
