In all fairness I have to report that at approximately 17,000 miles, my
98 ACR spun the rod bearing on the #1 cylinder. In it's defense, the car
still ran another 250 miles with the bad bearing, and was still running when
I put it in the shop last week for repair. All the repairs- (new crank,
pistons, bearings) and labor are being covered under warranty :) and this is
with the car sitting on their lift- WITH 41-DS ON THE SIDE, AND THE FULL NEON
RACING CONTINGENCY PACKAGE, I quote the service writer "warranty is warranty"
I love my Neon.........
