Okay, here's kinda of a silly question.
Can I put basically any size oil filter on my Neon, or any other car for
that matter?
Of course this is dependant on it fitting the threads and having enough
clearance from the surrounding objects. On the Neon the oil filter is a
mere 1.5" from the the passenger's side drive shaft.
Slightly larger capacity and/or cooling and/or filtering surfaces being
the sought after features. And would this be Stock Class legal?
Probably not but thought I'd ask anyway.
