Over twenty years ago, they had some competition at the end of Nationals in
Dallas/Ft. Worth in TR-7s. All the national champs of that year got to drive
these vehicles in some sort of special run off.

Don't ask me HOW I remember this. What I really remember from back then was
the ghost town of an airport nationals were at, the broken windows and
defunct escalators in the terminal (we got to use the building for
something), a trip to some sort of wild animal park, and sitting in a
laundry mat.
