Hell, I'm not bitching about being in 48th in Pax and fifth in ESP. I think
that is
pretty good for me. I was running a friend's car by his request and the car is
essentially stock except for the front springs and the 9 1/2" wheels. The power
train is
bone and I mean bone stock with 120,000 miles on it. I estimate that my friends
car was
about a minimum of 150 horsepower less that the class winner and probably at
least
80-100 down from David's Schotz', Perry Kincy's, and the other car ahead of me.
Oh yah, the car was running on some go-slow non-BFG stuff. "K" something I
believe. They
were foreign to me. (Oooh, that was a good pun)
These are my best excuses that I can come up with for not winning and I am
sticking to
it.
Overall, the course and the event was fun and I would like to thank the San
Diego Region
for a good event.
Also, I want to thank someone for providing the pizza for lunch on Saturday. We
were
down a quart of oil and the oil that dripped off our two pizza's helped out a
bunch. We
didn't have to go down to the gas station to get oil.
