The 205/55-14 g-Force is probably a wider tire in real-world measurement than
the 205/55-14 R1.  This is the case with a lot of the new tires vs. the old
230's;
you'd have to get BFG's specs on both the old and new tires to compare, either
from Tire Rack's webpage or from BFG's webpage.
