I would say autoxers make better road racers when compared to a novice with no
experience. You can see it on the track, they are smoother and usually faster.
I'll let you know how a road racer does in an autox in a few weeks :-) One
thing I will have to adjust too, and that's going full tilt out of the box.
I'm used to going hard for a couple of laps then when it settles down a bit, I
put my head down and disappear.
