Great!

I try that.

Thanks for you all, shared experience really works.

Lauri,

I had the same problem, when fitting an SV unit to my SIII. I just spread
the window bottom channel to fit the larger rounded sliders in the
mechanism, and it has worked fine for the last 10 years.

Subject: [Alpines] window mechanism

I bought a window lift mechanism for my s4, but didnt know s5 has a
slightly different system. First, fixing points are different both to the
window rail and to the door. It also is possible that when I changed new
toothed segment to my old one, I have missed one pressed steel plate.

How different those mechanisms are? I can cut out old points which connects
window bottom rail and weld it back again, but are those components
otherwise made in the same way of operation?

Has anyone photos?
