It s awhile since I have worked on my doors, but the stop you are
talking about (I think) is either the screw that holds the top of the
window track, or part of the assembly on the front of the door. (maybe
someone else can clarify). However, you should really consider doing a
complete overhaul of everything in there, since much of window
replacement requires two people and removal of upholstery panels
anyway. You can pry the base off (with gloves and safety glasses) and
Rick at SS supplies instructions for the new base liner.
