Hello fello Rootes fans,
Apologies to anyone disturbed by my posting this, but I think you
folks are the most likely to truly understand these cars.
In order to get my collection to a manageable level, I've decided to
pare the Humber part of my collection from 3 cars to just 1. With a great deal
of difficulty, I've decided to keep the 1962 Super Snipe saloon, and sell the
1961 saloon and the 1966 estate.
Of course, the most important thing to me is that they go to an
appreciating owner, so I'm offering to the list first. I'm in no dreadful
hurry, but I would like to get the garage space free before winter, as I have
a great deal of welding to do on a certain Commer camper!
If anyone is interested, I can email photos of the cars, just drop me
a line and I send them off list and we can discuss any offers. Oh, and if any
British listers are interested, I have a copy of the original registration
papers for the 1961 saloon, as it was a European delivery before being shipped
to the USA.
