ppg paint codes

I just reciently had my car painted and took the hood
latch cover off. turned it over and the bottom side
was factory painted. rubbed it clean polished it and
took it down to the local ppg paint suuply house. they
laser matched my paint based on this sample. even if
the car has been repainted , chances are they would
not have taked the time to remove this cover to paint 
the backside no one ever sees.
