Series V soft top

Hi everyone,
just coming to the final stages of converting my GT to a soft top. I couldn't
locate the aluminium strip that holds the rear of the soft top to the body ,
I managed to find a similar aluminium profile but I am not sure if this strip
is supposed to but up to the copper colour side rails or whether I need to
leave a gap between them. If anyone has a picture of the strips installed or
can offer any advice please email me.
