Surface mail is slow or...
in my opinion it is quite fast in Europe. A letter usually travels from
Sicily or Crete to the northmost parts of Finland or Norway in 2-3 days.
And, dear Thomas, you couldn't send that bumper to me in bits, I mean not
even in gigabits.
