Well, they're not sending me a huge amount but every little helps :-) I
originally wrote the article for Rootes fans on this and the Hillman
list, then it occurred to me that folks without internet access might
also be interested. I've spoken to the magazine since and they have
already had some positive feedback from readers. They're also
interested in an article on the Alpine restoration.
Speaking of which, I actually drove it last week, just up the street and
back as it stills needs some fettling to get it into registerable
condition, but all the major work is done! The 3000 piece jigsaw is
back together with only a few pieces missing! Of course getting it
going was in some ways hastened by the Canberra bushfires - our suburb
was officially on alert for several days.
