I've installed a serV oil filter base with it's oil pressure relief valve and
was wondering if there was a way to adjust it so that I might get more than 50
lbs of peak oil pressure on my newly rebuilt 1600cc engine.
I am particularly concerned about pressure at the top end of my engine as I
siezed the #1 exhaust valve while running up hill at peak rpms and a engine
temp of 190+ degrees (ext temp was near around 90) and suspect insufficient
lubrication was the primary culprit.
