The Hunter engine was tilted over about 6 degrees. That means that the piping
will require some work to keep the carbs horizontal in an Alpine.

If they are for the Hillman Hunter will they fit the Alpine?

Mark,

Likely the manifolds that you speak of are for the avenger engine.
These will not fit the alpine/hunter engine.

The avenger was avail in 1250(1300),1500 and 1600cc.

Alpines are 1494, 1592 and 1725cc.

Hello list,

I have located two intake manifolds for the Weber carbs. One is a Lynx
crossflow for a single carb, and the other a twin carb set-up. Both
appear
to
be for 1300 or 1600 engines. My goal is about 120 hp with other mods
including
porting and mild cam. The questions are: will these work for a 1725? Is
the
twin overkill if I am not racing? They are replacing cd150s. Thanks.

Regards,

Mark B
