I'd go for a really light color, white or yellow or something.  It will
be sitting out in the sun while you are using it, and this will keep it
just a bit cooler.  I guess with all that Bondo the "B-29 mirror finish"
 look is out, right?  Paint the bottom International Orange, just in
case....
