I finally found out what was wrong with the ignition
system on my SV. The new rotor I purchased "leaked"
spark through the insulator to right to ground. When
you pop the rotor off and look inside you could see
some burnt discoloration in the bottom of the cap on
the plastic. Apparently, this is a common problem
with the replacement rotors that have the contact
"rivited" on (there is a brass button that holds on
the conductor on top). Apparently this happens a lot
and all of the new ones have this vulnerablilty.
