If you have a series 5 the glove box is attatched with 5 (I think) 90 degree
angle small braces. These were (stock) split riveted to the paper box, then
screwed to the wood (GT) or in the case of the plastic dash...
they are fitted "over" the posts from the plastic box surround and secured by
clips. Basicly sandwiching the dash between the box surround and the box.
Hope that all makes sense.
If you purchase a new box, they have elliminated the need for the clips by
providing extra cardboard that is bent at a 90 degree angle.
If you need some angle braces, I have some. Powder coated of course.
