For those who did not catch the Queen's Jubilee celebrations on TV.
The coverage for BBC was by one of our (UK) top commentators, David
Dimbleby.
The highpoint of the procession was a series of classic for each decade
since
the '50s.
Now Dave obviously knows his cars, as he spotted (and correctly identified)
a
Tiger, presumably by the detail of the side trim.
He then let himself down a bit by describing it as the 'replacement for the
Sunbeam Alpine'.
Still, her majesty seemed impressed, and at least she got to see a Sunbeam
of
some sort.
Oh, there was also a very nice Sunbeam Talbot Alpine in the '50s procession.
Julian.
