I am in the process of obtaining a set of fresh air vents (footwell
ventilators) from a S V to install in my S IV. I did this about 20 years
ago on another car, so I know it can be done fairly easily. At that time
I had an S V body shell as a pattern.
I will have to cut the sheet metal at the bottom of the scuttle air
intake, both sides, in order to fit the top of the ventilators. What I
need is a digital photo, or some definitive text, which describes the
exact location in the air intake that the ventilator top is fitted. Does
anyone have a S V in a sufficient state of undress that such a photo
could easily be taken (from the top looking straight down)? I believe
that the location is symmetrical both sides, but it may not be, and
would appreciate left and right if they are not symmetrical.
Cheers
