Hi all: I am in the process of installing a new set of rings in my 1725 Series V. The two compression rings in the set are fine - the end gap is within recommended tolerances. The oil ring, on the other hand, has an end gap of nearly 90 thousands! It's hard to believe this is a normal gap for an oil control ring. Any ideas? thanks! Paul |
