Now that I've completely trashed two people I fully respect, I figure I should drop in on something less problematic. On the trunk springs, I think you will kill yourself before you can stretch that trunk spring out to the hook on the hing. What I did was have the hing unattached to the trunk itself. I rotated it so the hook grabs the spring nice and easy. Then I used the leverage of the hing to rotate it up against the trunk and bolted it in. A tad bit easier. Jay |
