Has anyone tried to replace the oillite bushing with a needle bearing? have seen this in many make of automobiles. seems to me to be they way to go, as they don't wear larger with time, and seldom fail. also create much less heat and less wear and tear on the rear main seals. another benefit is less movement of the input shaft making the front trans bearing last longer. just a thought, but would be interested in other opinions.
