Starting with a Sunbeam is like getting infected by Sunbeams (or Rootes
for that matter).
As a student in Europe I couldn't afford a sports car. Later in life, an
Alpine S4 caught my eye. Was blue, but should be white. Got another one
for free(yes in 1985)people gave them away. Was green but should blue
and needed some work. It is still around. Got my Tiger MKI and my son
found a rotisserie with an Alpine S5 hanging up side down in it. Long
story, I wound up with rotisserie and the car. This S5 was in primer
with Cadillac(that's all these are good for) silver started, should have
been white. Couldn't resist a Chevy pickup complete with 50 year old
kerosene in the hazard lanterns sitting in the local woods. Loved fins
and got a red(should have been baby blue)S3, which is still awaiting
restoration. Found the best(out of 5)Sunbeam Venezia in the USA. Found
several junky Alpines lately and kept one a '69 GT Alpine, just too good
to junk! But needs tlc. A couple now owns the white and silver Alpines
with license plates: "2SUN"&"BEAMS". Nice if they park together!
So what's left: '64 Tiger MKI my son's love
'64 Venezia my present love
'63 Alpine S3 needs resto (for sale?)
'69 Alpine GT needs tlc (for sale)
'41 Chevy PU in process

for
being tired! have to take more vitamins. (no Viagra).
Forgot would you take a look at this car and tell me what you think its
worth? http://www.geocities.com/samuelstovall/hillman.html
