In case you have never heard of Fred Petroske, I'll fill you in on him. About
10 years ago I drove up to Northern NY state to visit him and trade some parts.
He's a very nice guy and has the most unbelievable collection of British cars
and parts I've ever seen.
One building had cubby holes built on both sides about 4 or 5 high. Each cubby
had different car bodies stashed in them. In the corner there were about 10 TVR
bodies lined up back to back! This was just the beginning. He had many more
huge buildings like this all full of different stuff. In one building there was
a Ferrari Daytona that he was cutting the top off of. This guy buys nice cars
and parts them out!!! He literally has mountains of engines, seat belt,
transmissions, etc... It's one hell of an operation. and one of those things
you gotta see to believe. It's all out in the middle of no where too. At the
time, he wanted to work a deal with me to buy all his Alpine stuff. It was too
much for me to even consider dealing with, not to mention hauling it all home.
