List, the conversion to a modern front seal has been done! If anyone want a picture, let me know. I used Ed's pilot hole and pop rivet version, but instead of solder, I used JB Weld and saved the chrome on my cover. It really looks good and unless you are looking real close, it almost looks like part of the cover. Well, I'm out to the garage to install the cover. Paul |
